The electrode cutter Nett
The prerequisite for a good welding result is the shape of the spot welding electrodes. An electrode can, after repeated polishing with a file get an unrequired shap. If the electrode is to be returned to its original shape, it is usually done by turning. With the electrode cutter NETT, the adjustment can be carried out without the electrodes having to be detached from the machine. The milling cutter is placed in a holder with a locking device, the electrode cutter does not need to be turned around. Milling takes place with a reciprocating movement. The milling cutter is replaceable and is manufactured as standard for electrodes ½”- ¾” with top angle 120 and 5 mm point diameter. Practical tests have shown that this design of spot welding electrodes is the most economical in terms of wear. Electrodes with a smaller top diameter have poorer cooling capacity and therefore wear out more quickly.
