Pneumatic Formatter
The operator places the electrode formatter as perpendicular as possible to the electrodes and makes sure that the inserts fit the shape of the electrodes and that the welding current is switched off (welding guard in NO WELD position). With a handle, the rotation of the cutters is started, which processes the electrode to its original shape. The blades are replaceable and the electrode shaper can work in three different ways.
- With open electrodes when only one electrode is formed.
- With closed electrodes under pressure (electrode force< 250 daN) when only one electrode is formed.
- As above, but both electrodes are formed simultaneously
